Biological Nutrient Removal

A summary of the relevant research that underpins the science of how our solution aids in removing nutrients like Nitrogen and Phosphorous.  Our powerful microbes reinforce the biological reactions taking place both in the collection system and the treatment plant – resulting in more beneficial reactions.

FOG

Our unique blend of aerobic, vegetative, r-strategist bacteria specialized for hydrocarbon digestion is dosed near the point source of Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) in the collection system.  Employing a broad panel of enzymes, these bacteria efficiently and continually break down the ester and lipid bonds between the fatty acids and glycerols, hydrolyzing the substrate and vastly speeding up the process by which it is available to be metabolized.

Odor Control

Odor Control

Competitive Exclusion through logarithmic growth, combined with superior motility, lead to the starvation of native bacteria responsible for H2S creation.

Sewage Sludge Reduction

Facultative, spore forming bacteria (at up to 108 times greater than indigenous sessile bacteria in wastewater) dosed into the outer reaches of the sewer network establishes more sustainable microbiology in the sewer network to improve raw wastewater quality, and reduce influent load to the WWTP

Plant Operations

In-Pipe Technology’s (IPT) bioaugmentation process converts the collection system into an active part of the wastewater treatment process.
